Bryanna Garcia, President & Executive Director

Bryanna created the foundation in honor of her dad, Richard Garcia, who served 24 years as a Lieutenant with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. He dedicated his life to protecting others and showing up for his community — and that’s exactly the legacy she’s committed to carrying forward.

Bryanna currently works in hockey media and marketing with Montclair State University Men’s Ice Hockey, where she leads social media and content creation. Through her work, she has built and grown digital platforms, created original content, and developed strong skills in branding, storytelling, and audience engagement — all of which she now brings into building and expanding the foundation.

For Bryanna, this foundation is more than just an organization — it’s deeply personal. It was built from love, loss, and the desire to turn something painful into something meaningful. Through this foundation, she’s continuing her dad’s impact in a way that reaches beyond memory and creates real change.

“I created this foundation to make sure my dad’s legacy never stops making a difference and to honor his life and the sacrifices he made day in and day out.”

We’re proud to have her leading this mission and turning legacy into impact every single day 🤍

Aiden plays an important role in supporting the foundation’s mission, helping carry forward the legacy of his father, Richard Garcia, who served 24 years as a Lieutenant with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office. Through his involvement, Aiden is learning firsthand what it means to give back, lead with purpose, and stay connected to the community his father cared so deeply about.

Currently a senior in high school, Aiden has not yet committed to a college, but he is actively exploring his future with a strong interest in the business world. Whether pursuing a path in finance or real estate, he is motivated to build a career that reflects both ambition and impact.

In addition to his academic goals, Aiden has developed a passion for sports photography. Through capturing moments behind the lens, he has gained creative skills and a unique perspective on storytelling—something that also contributes to how he supports the foundation’s presence and outreach.

For Aiden, being part of the foundation is both a responsibility and an honor. It allows him to stay connected to his father’s legacy while beginning to shape his own path, grounded in hard work, growth, and giving back.

“I’m proud of my sister for putting this all together and I’m proud to be part of something that represents my dad’s legacy and to help continue the impact he made in people’s lives.”

Christine Weis-Garcia, Secretary

Christine’s role within the foundation is rooted in something far greater than a title — it’s rooted in a lifetime of love, partnership, and shared purpose. She spent over 30 years by Richard Garcia’s side, building a life, a family, and a bond that was the foundation of everything he stood for.

Christine’s role within the foundation is rooted in something far greater than a title — it’s rooted in a lifetime of love, partnership, and shared purpose. She spent over 30 years by Richard Garcia’s side, building a life, a family, and a bond that was the foundation of everything he stood for.

While Rich dedicated 24 years to law enforcement with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, his greatest accomplishment — the one he was most proud of — was his family. Together, they created a home filled with love, strength, laughter, and unwavering support, values that now live on through this foundation.

As Secretary, Christine plays a vital role in keeping the foundation organized, connected, and moving forward with intention. But beyond that, she carries the heart behind the mission — protecting and preserving a legacy that was built not only through service to the community, but through the love he gave so deeply at home.

For Christine, this foundation is a continuation of everything they built together — a way to turn unimaginable loss into purpose, and to make sure Rich’s impact never fades.

“Thirty years together wasn’t enough, but I will spend the rest of my life making sure everything we built — our family, his legacy, his love for helping others — continues to live on and make a difference.”
